    Lindsay was born and raised in the Denver, Colorado area where she continues to live and practice law today. As a long-established Colorado resident, Lindsay has developed numerous and varied business and legal contacts which she can leverage for the benefit of her clients’ needs.

    Lindsay has over a decade of legal experience as a paralegal and attorney. Prior to attending law school, Lindsay worked as a paralegal at the prominent Denver law firm Campbell Bohn Killin Brittan & Ray, LLC and in the Denver office of the international law firm Morrison & Foerster LLP. In these positions, Lindsay worked on a variety of corporate and transactional matters for individuals and businesses and ranging from simple business formations to complex mergers and acquisitions and real estate transactions involving millions of dollars. Lindsay’s experience included preparation and coordination of corporate filings, preparation of estate planning documents, preparation of residential and business leases, perfection of security interests, finalization of SEC filings and periodic corporate reports, and drafting of corporate formation documents and resolutions. Lindsay also performed due diligence and prepared closing documents for major transactions.

    After graduating from the University of Denver College of Law and passing the bar in 2006, Lindsay has continued to focus her practice in the areas of business and real estate transactions. Lindsay has worked as an associate in a Denver real estate firm where she represented multi-purpose metropolitan districts from organization to dissolution. Lindsay also worked as in-house counsel for a telecommunications company where she was involved in all aspects of the company’s customer contract operations. Lindsay’s practice has included due diligence in connection of public financing, obtaining governmental approval and drafting service plans for quasi-municipal corporations, full service representation of special districts, bond work, contract preparation and counseling, and monitoring of contract status and performance.

    Lindsay also has substantial experience in real estate advocacy and counseling. She has represented both landlords and tenants in breach of lease and eviction matters. She has also counseled clients on a wide variety of real estate transfer and maintenance matters, including preparation and review of real estate transaction documents and representation of a local homeowners association in an historic district in central Denver.

    Today, Lindsay continues her varied business and real estate practice at Burleson Law, LLC.
